The Story
of the Warren County Fairgrounds
The Warren County Fairgrounds celebrates over 170 years of agriculture and community. The first fair was hosted by the Warren County Agricultural Society in1850. Harness racing started approximately ten years later, drawing large crowds to see records broken on the regulation horse track. In1917 the fairgrounds held the first large-scale event besides the summer fair with an automobile show. Today, the 94-acre venue hosts one of the largest fairs in Ohio in July and nationally recognized events, including Country Apple Fest, Presidential Rallies, Weddings, Concerts, Auctions, Fundraisers, and much more.
